THE KERALA STATE CO-OPERATIVE MARKETING
FEDERATION LTD., PROFILE MANAGEMENT As in all democratic set up, here also, the General Body is the supreme authority in the management. The general administration as well as the business of MARKETFED is controlled by a Board of Directors comprising of 20 members of which 14 are elected from the delegates of the member Cooperative Marketing Societies representing each district, one Managing Director, three members nominated by the State Government, Registrar of Co-operative Societies and Regional Director, National Co-operative Development Corporation. The term of the Committee is five years. ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE The executive powers of MARKETFED are vested with the Managing Director. He is assisted by General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Finance Manager, Manager (Administration), Manger (Spices), Manager (Oil Seeds), Manager (Fertilizer). They are assisted by Deputy Managers. For administrative convenience, the whole state is divided into three regions, each region under the control of Assistant Managers/ Branch Manager. Each Assistant Manager is assisted by Sales Executives and Assistant Sales Executives at district level. The entire procurement and distribution works are managed by these personnel. The three regions are located at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam & Kozhikode. Besides these regions, MARKETFED has six branches at Kochi, Kozhikode, Kasargod, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkotta. These branches are under the control of Branch Managers. PERSONNEL
