Cardamom growing State with an area of 44237 hectors followed by Karnataka with 33518 hectors and Tamil Nadu with 5896 hectors. Marketfed started large scale trading of Cardamom
from 1976-77 Trade enquiries are solicited from genuine and prosperous buyers of domestic and international markets. |

Societies and the business was controlled by our Kochi and Kozhikode
Branches.
That was a remarkable event, in golden letters in the history of
Marketfed. By 1983-84, we have reached the peak level by
achieving a target of 250 Mts Marketfed still holds command
over Cardamom procurement. In order to increase the volume
of business and for the upgradation of the quality of the
Cardamom we established a grading centre at Bodinaykannur in
Tamil Nadu. Our Cardamom has been regularly sold through
more than 1000 outlets in the metropolitan area of Delhi and
steps are being taken to expand the market to Mumbai and
Kolkata along with our regular exports.
